Entry 105: Time for my Spring Break 2014
Greetings to the World once again!
So the Easter holidays are finally here in England and already I’ve amazed the family with the running and the offer from Lincoln College. Now it’s time I shared a moment of their lives as I take on a challenge that my parents did so many years ago.
I’ve decided to take part in an event called Student Cross where groups of people from various parts of the UK carry a wooden cross about 100 miles spread throughout a week ending at Walsingham on Easter Sunday. (It’s a Christian thing)
I’ll be meeting loads of new people when I start in Leicester tomorrow so I’m kind of nervous. But hey, at least I’ll be able to have chocolate along the way to counter act my biscuits for lent!
HOWEVER
This’ll mean once again, I’m going to be off DA for a while since I’ll be walking every day and there’ll be minimum access to the internet. Don’t worry. I’ve made a checklist of things to draw so I may upload some sketches when I get back… (Who Knows?)
On a lighter note this week, I’ve watched the anime “Sakuraso no Pet no Kanjo” which was nice (I don’t know why but after the ending I wanted to see more…) and the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier which was MARVEL-OUS (See what I did there)!
Anyway I must dash, got a train to catch you know. I guess I’ll see you lot when I return from my new adventure. Happy Easter you guys.
